அமாவாசை திதி : அமாவாசை திதிக்கு சிவன், பராசக்தி ஆகிய இருவரும் அதிதேவதை ஆவார்கள். அமாவாசை அன்று பித்ருக்களுக்கு ஆற்றவேண்டிய கடன்களை, வழிபாடுகளை செய்யலாம். தான- தர்ம காரியங்கள் செய்ய உகந்த திதி இது . இயந்திரம் சம்பந்தமான அனைத்து காரியங்களையும் அமாவாசை அன்று தொடங்கலாம்.
Amavasai Tithi : For Amavasai Tithi both Shiva and Parashakti are deities. On the new moon day, one can perform prayers and rituals to the ancestors. This is an auspicious day for charity too. All kind of mechanical work machinery works can be started on Amavasai day.
